As you may have already noticed, I am a big foodie and perhaps due in part to the MLB’s “Day at the Ballpark” event a couple weeks ago, one of my recent obsessions has been a quality hot dog. I’m not sure if its just the sauerkraut that’s got me craving them or what. But either way, its not easy to find a good dog in Beijing. But my good friend Chad at Stadium Dog seems to have done just this. :) Definitely worth the price (like, 20rmb for a dog with all the toppings you want!) and its located right in front of Fubar, which is of course incredibly convenient, haha.

Anyhoo, I should get back to my actual work before I start waxing poetic about hotdogs. Now *that* would be some odd poetry… toodles y’all!

    Hi Elyse,

Nachos are pretty good. Topped with a melted cheddar-mozzarella blend, plus whatever else you want, which more me means chili, jalapeno peppers, diced onion and tomatoes, and… more cheese. RMB25.

    Cheers, boyce

I never went near a hot dog in China (of course I rarely eat them in the US either). Next time you’re in the states, come visit NYC and I’ll take you out to Crif Dogs–strangest and best hot dogs I’ve ever had.
